Moon Boots // Almdorf Seinerzeit

So before i say goodbye to 2014 i have one more outfit to post. As you guys have probably noticed from my social media i had the pleasure to enjoy a wonderful stay at a little but definitely luxurious cabin in Carinthia/Almdorf Seinerzeit (detailed post will be up soon) at the beginning of December. I have to say that this little trip was definitely one of my highlight of this year - but in general - 2014 was definitely a major year when it comes to projects/opportunities  & experience. All in all i'm really grateful and i hope that the next year has even more to offer. Along with these lines i wish you a Happy New Year from the bottom of my heart! 

Merry Christmas!

Firstly MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! I'm currently in Salzburg enjoying the holiday season together with my family. As you guys know i did a pretty exhausting shooting along with Edisa a few weeks ago! So today i want to  show you the very last look! I'm wearing this amazing sequin dress by Eva Poleschinksi and of course jewellery from Ciro!  So once again, merry christmas and enjoy this time of the year to the fullest!! 

Black Ensemble // St. Moritz

Whilst i was i way in St. Moritz i finally got the chance to wear one of my favorite headpieces i own - this lovely faux fake headband which adds a little bit more spice to the whole outfit! I've had this piece for probably 8 years around and I'm still very fond about it due to the fact that it was actually a present from my mum. Unfortunately there are not many opportunities to pull this look or let's say first i always reach out for my hats and beanies - but who knows - maybe something else is working for me in 2015.

Let's Celebrate!!!

Wow  - it  seems like this month is really dedicated to Christmas – i’ve done so many Christmas related posts and projects that i never thought that i will enjoy this time of the year that much.  So when Zalando asked me if i wanted to show off my Christmas Outfit i thought that this would be the icing on the top. So if you follow my social media  you’ve probalbly seen that i’ve been on a little road trip last week and somehow i knew that i will probably find the perfect scenery to capture my choosen look – and yes i was right. While i experienced a really exciting journey (quite traditional i would say) i luckily got the chance to shoot right in the middle of the Mountains of Carinthia – cats included (since i’m such an animal lover i have to say this was probably the best part of it). I opted for a more casual outfit instead of a glamourous one because honestly i like to have it a little bit more comfortable during Christmas Eve. The highlight of this ensemble is defintily the blue coat and i’m super happy that i finally stepped out of my comfort and choose color over neutral!

So today i want to show you guys my second look of our StyleGuideTV Christmas Shooting. St. Moritz | Outfit - Oh so fluffy

For my second day i opted for wearing one of my favorite coat which was definitely one of my best buys back in the day. As you can tell i’m rocking fake fur and i knew that this look would be the perfect option for St. Moritz - and with the mountains behind me i couldn’t have asked for more.

Kempinski Grand Hôtel des Bains | St. Moritz

It's Monday Morning and i'm still thinking about the wonderful time at St. Moritz last weekend. Alongside with Edisa from Disicouture & Maria from Stylekingdom we were invited to attend the 150 anniversary of the Kempinksi Grand Hotel de Bains  – and let me tell you we had a blast right from the beginning (isn’t a Girltrip the best thing you can do). So we arrived in the afternoon and as soon as we stepped out of the car we got to enjoy a royal treatment to the fullest and i also want to mention that i’ve never met such an inviting, caring & incredibly warm staff and our stay started with a some warm welcome Champagne. We were more than excited to try out the offer which included many things such as a wonderful dinner (mentioned in the previous post) at one of their restaurants, some drinks at the bar, a guided tour through the inner city, a Xavier Naidoo concert and of course a stunning landscape since this hot spot is surrounded by the mountains. Unfortunately we had no time fort he ultra deluxe SPA & SAUNA but who knows – maybe we will be back very soon! The Kempinksi is a very large, traditional and all in all a truly 5 star Hotel. Every one of us stayed in a Deluxe Room with a huge bed which made it hard to get up in the morning but as soon as we got to take a deep breath of the fresh air of the mountains we were awake in a second. Our first day included a little tour through the city but also an appointment at La Perla to get to know the brand which was all organized by our super our lovlely PR Exevutive Paul Dutschmann from the Kempinski Hotel. We had so much fun that i can’t remember the last time when i laughed so much!

Luckily we were blessed with the weather because usually at this time of the year it’s super cold near the lake and so i got the chance to wear my new blue coat (full look will be up soon).We enjoyed the sunshine and the amazing view while we took a walk back to the hotel.  It felt incredibly good to experience something different and be surrounded by nature!

These two days were all about pleasures and delights and it was really hard to pick out the photos for this post but you don’t get to live a fabulous weekend on a daily basis.

Kempinski St. Moritz | Dinner Outfit

So before i’m going to show you all the images of my recent trip to St. Moritz i wanted to to show/tell you something special! Right after our arrival at the wonderful Kempinski Grains Hotel des Bains we had dinner at the beautiful Restaurant Enoteca. I went for a really smart & elegant look, glammed up with amazing jewellery from Ciro to keep it feminine. I know this seems to be a really simple look but i’m head over heels for this specific blazer! You wanna know why! Well, before we (talking about Disicouture & Stylekingdom) started our journey to Switzerland we stopped at my favorite Vintage Store Alexas near Salzburg. If you follow me for quite some time you’ve probably seen a bunge of unique vintage pieces over the last years which i've always found at this particular store. So when i came up with the idea to introduce this store to my girls the positive answer came with no hesitation. So long story short, i ended up with this aaaamazing Gianni Versace Blazer and another beautiful trenchcoat – and you know what – the excitement about this purchases still hasn’t worn off!

The Gift Hunter // #DiscoverChristmas at the Designer Outlet Salzburg

I’m sure you’re well aware that Christmas is just around the Corner and a lot of us are trying to find the perfect gifts for our loved ones. Especially for our parents it can be tricky to shop for but in my case i always found way to many options when it comes to my mom, the tough part is definitely finding something for my Dad.

I’m acutally a huge fan of personal gifts and whenever someone special in my life is giving a hint of what he or she is currently craving for i’m the one who takes note of that instead of asking. So over the last months i was really tring to pay attention and i already found some goodies but i’m definitely not at the end of the road.

So lucky me, i was invited along with some other Bloggers from Munich in order to find the perfect 3 Christmas gifts at the Designer Outlet Salzburg. Besides the 3 perfect gifts we also got the chance to put an outfit together for the upcoming Christmas Parties! It’s always a good idea to plan your outfits ahead of time before you’re having a „I don’t know what to wear situations“ and you end up being stressed out. In my case i went for a really feminine  look. Usually i stick to my black pants and a classic blazer but i thought that with all the Christmas Party invitations i want to show different styles. My favorite piece of this Head-to-Toe Jill-Sander Ensemble is definitely the black leather dress. It has the perfect length and creates a really sophisticated look and the fabric adds the perfect edge to it. So i guess i'm well prepared and ready to celebrate! 

GIFT IDEA: MOM

Like i already mentioned finding something for my mom is pretty easy. In my opinion a bag is always a good idea and actually pretty easy to find because currently there are so many beautiful models out there like this Jil Sander Bag in Baby-Blue which will bet he perfect companion for the upcoming Spring Season

GIFT IDEA: DAD 

So when it comes to my Dad i like to be on the save side and stick to the basics. I know perfume as a christmas gift seems to be a little bit odd but for many it’s definitely not an everyday purchase. The main thing to keep in mind is to select something that suits the personality of the person well and you’re good to go!

GIFT IDEA: BROTHER/SISTER 


Another option for your sister or brother or also for yourself are these wonderful and classic boots. But let me tell you one thing, if you're more of a superstitious kind of person you should probably know the fact that it says that whenever you're giving someone a pair of shoes as a Christmas gift as this will make the recipient walk away from you! I heard about this before but totally forgot about it and honestly i'm not so into Superstitions. So it's up to you!

Midnight Blue

Wow it seems like i’m only posting shoots  instead of my usual OOTD - but let me tell you - this one is probably the one i’m most proud of – you wanna know why! Well, believe it or not this ist the very first „All-in-one“ Production mady by StyleguideTV. A few weeks ago i came up with an idea creating a whole shoot without any help – just the the two of us – my partner in crime Edisa & I.  We decided that is about time fort he biggest challenge of all in other words we experienced being a Photographer, Model, Stylist, Assistant, Hair & Make-Up Artist & of course an Art Director at the same time – and yes it was super exhausting but so worth it! I’m also super happy that we got the chance to feature amazing brands which made this shoot even more special. I’m wearing this stunning dress by Jürgen Hoerl which is btw also available at the Store „Runway Vienna“ in Goldschmiedgasse combined with wonderful pieces from the jewellery brand Ciro.

Silhouettes // Parkhotel Schönbrunn - StyleGuide TV Shooting

So today is finally the day! I guess a lot of you guys have already seen some glimpses of our first Styleguide TV Shooting which took place at the Parkhotel Schönbrunn in collaboration with Austria Trend Hotel several weeks ago. We decided to give ourselves that extra push for the end of this year and so we came up with the idea to create something different compared to our usual outfit posts. We always had the intention to try out new ways regarding our content because there is always a time when you feel too one-dimensional or too repetivie and all of a sudden you feel the urge to change everything in a second. So for this specific project we’ve luckily  teamed up with a few austrian designers and we basically got the chance to pick out our favorite looks of their current collection for our shooting! Of course this StyleGuideTV Production wouldn’t be complete without the obligatory video – and yes, we also managed to capture all of those moments/outfits just to give you guys a little bit more by showing you the behindthescenes compressed in a few minutes! Sennheiser Urbanites x Wien Live Shooting

If you follow me on my other social media, you might already know that i got the chance to shoot a super cool story in collaboration with the amazing brand Sennheiser for the austrian Magazine Wien Live! I actually planned to post these pictures weeks ago but after working so hard on my second project (StyleguideTV) and on many other projects & collaborations as well (looking forward to tell you more about it soon) i realizied that sometimes you simply can’t keep track of everything! But today is the day and i can finally reveal the whole shoot on my blog! I have to say that i was thrilled to be chosen for this shooting and super excited to work with the talented photographer alongside with the man behind NewKissOnTheBlog & DJ Danny La Vega. This time, the look was definitely more playfull & fun but as far as being a blogger you always get the chance to challenge yourself in order to see what’s on the next level!

London Retro Dodger Shades

So last week i already posted a little sneak peak of today’s post combined with the conclusion that you can never have enough sunglasses. I’ve definitely noticed that my collection keeps growing every month – i mean how could you not – there are so many different types of shades out there which make my heart beat faster. And yes, this is obviously a little confession about my current obsession when it comes to accessories!

So my newest pair called London Retro Dodger arrived last week from the Sunglassesshop.com and of course i decided to wear them as soon as the sun came out. I realized that i havn’t worn a full black outfit in a really long time – or let’s say on the blog but these shades made my look complete. They were the perfect match fort his ensemble and i simply love the combo with my fauxbob which is one of the things i love doing whenever i get bored of my long hair!

Naked Kitchen Event

Recently i had the amazing opportunity to be invited to the very first pop-up restaurant called Naked Kitchen (founded by Nicolai Reimond) and be part of an exclusive dinner experience - in fact those kind of restaurants seem to be a lovely alternative to the traditional dining out, especially when you’re always on the hunt for something new. So two weeks ago Edisa and i ended up at the secret location (now i can tell you – at the Kunstforum) which has been announced one day before the event and of course we were curious and excited ever since we got the invitation. Shortly after the pre-dinner drink, we were ushered to our table in order to start this special dinner which was created by the Chef Walter Triebl, a 26-year-old from Austria, who’s the winner of the tenth edition of Junge Wilde. Of course we managed to caputre all of those wonderful moments (video down below) in order to share this wonderful event with you guys and we would love to read your comments and thoughts!

The 200th Anniversary of the Köchert Jeweler + Video

As the title would suggest,  2 weeks ago Edisa and i were kindly invited to attend the exclusive 200th Anniversary Event of A.E. Köchert.  A.E. Köchert Jewellers is a family run business since 1814 and today one of Vienna's best known jewellers and even the foremost Empress Elisabeth (Sissy) was a big fan and used to adorn her hair with diamond stars made by Köchert. Today it is Christoph, Wolfgang, and Florian Köchert who carry on the tradition of the house and in order to celerbrate the 200th Anniversary, the House Köchert invited hundreds of guests including Prince Ernest Augustus of Hanover. So for this occassion i decided to wear one of my favorite looks, which is of course a suit! Especially this green one is (finally) something different compared to my other ones. To complete the outfit i threw on my new black coat from Aboutyou.at and i have to say that that this one is already under my top 3 in the category "favorite coats ever" - and let me tell you, i was looking for the perfect one for almost 2 years! The fabric is just wonderful and i love the fact that this coat has the perfect shape worn open, closed or just thrown over the shoulders. Favorite Mix // Black & Blue

As you guys probably know from my posts during the last winter season i became quite a huge fan of mixing blue and black – and yes the idea of not mixing these two shades seems so dated and i still can’t get over the fact that this style used to be a fashion no-no. I can honestly say that this specific look turned out to be my favorite combo of all times especially when the temperatures starts to fall and it’s simply the perfect way to look edgy and sophisticated at the same time plus i guess i don’t have to mention the fact that these two shades are incredibly flattering for anyone! But you guys know, my outfit wouldn’t be complete without a pair of sunglasses and guess what i finally joined the Ray-Ban-Club! Yes it’s true – these are my very first Ray-Bans which i received last week from the lovely people from Smartbuyglasses and instead of choosing the classic Aviator i decided to go with the the Ray-Ban Outdoorsman which have an extra bar right on the top and combined with the grey-green glasses they seem to be the perfect choice to add another neutral color to this particular look!

Vintage Blouse

As soon as the weather starts to get a bit chilly the first thing i get most excited about is definitely the fact that i can finally wear one of my favorite piece of clothing – yes i’m talking about my coats and let me tell you, i’ve got way too many! Nothing is like walking around and feeling finally put together. I tried to stay away from an #allinblack outfit and decided to wear one of my vintage blouse i found a few years ago and somehow i never got sick of the pattern, in fact rather the opposite. So the other day i headed to town to run a few errands as well as meet-up with Edisa to continue working on a very special project which is still in the making! But as soon as i’m able to share it with you guys, i let you know! So stay tuned!   

Vienna Fair - The New Contemporary 2014 + Video

So back at the beginning of october (wow time flies) i had not only the pleasure to attend the Vienna Fair – The New Contemporary 2014 for the second time in my life but also got the chance to to check out every single corner along with Edisa before the official start. The VIENNAFAIR - The New Contemporary has played a vital role in firmly anchoring Austrian galleries and the city of Vienna in the international art market by stimulating exchange between different art scenes and attracting more and more art collectors and furthermore it offers art education for art enthusiasts from all age groups. So to capture more than just a few glimpses i finally took advantage of my Canon Legria Mini and filmed a few impressions of the Fair!

Joop Vintage Bag

Yes, you’ve seen this vinatge bag in the previous post before but let me tell you – this is probably one of my favorite vintage finds in a really long time. Over the last 7 or 8 years i became a passionate vintage collector and i always get so excited whenever i score a great deal and when you take a closer look at my blog or instagram you've probably noticed that i always love to incorporate such treasures into my daily looks! 

Weekend Max Mara Store Opening // Styleguide Episode 3

So exactly 2 weeks ago i had the priviledge to be invited to the Weekend Max Mara Store Opening. Instead of just posting all the impressions in form of pictures i thought it was the perfect chance to continue our Styleguide TV project and capture those lovely moments in a different way and in all honesty i’m pretty happy with the outcome! I also have to mention that one of the highlights of the evening was definitely the art illustrator which is in my opinion such a cool idea instead of just browsing through the shop and these kinds of non fashion related additions to an event will stuck in your memory forever. So i hope you’ll enjoy our new video!

Retro meets Grunge

It feels like grunge is back in fashion and i couldn’t be happier to rock my dark lipsticks again. I love to experiment and constantly change my style but sometimes it’s nice to go back in time and rock old looks from the 90’s. In 2014 the punk/grunge look is definitely not that dirty as it used to be back in the day because i’ve noticed that many designers brought it back into the high fashion world but for my personal taste i decided to add a little twist and so i thought that it might be fun to mix this particular trend with some sort of a retro but also a futuristic feeling and create an unexpected look with these amazing Fendi sunglasses!

Golden Hour

Transitioning your wardrobe from season to season is probably one of the biggest challenges we all have to face everytime when the temperatures starts to raise or fall - and guess what, this is excactyl the time of the year where i get super excited to try out new things and push my creativity to the next level.  So for this time i decided to pair one of my favorite floral pencil skirt with a big chunky navyblue sweater (not to mention the white shirt underneath which adds the perfect twist to the whole outfit) and lucky me i was finally able to caputre one of the best moments you can get just before sunset – yes i’m talking about the Golden Hour which adds the perfect glow to any picture!

So before i jump right into this post - let me start by saying that the last week was a bit crazy. The whole week was filled up with so many events and other appointments that i was pretty happy when sunday came around. I had such a good time and i'm so greatful for all these experiences that i can't wait for the next fall season. One of my highlight was definitely the evening when we got the chance to pretend to be a pilot for an evening and soar through the clouds like a pro because thanks to Ruefa Reisen me and some other bloggers were invited to  try out a flight simulator and let our dreams become reality. But back to the outfit which i was wearing on Tuesday morning to the #BLUETIMES pressconference at the Kunsthalle Wien where more than 30 international artists showcases their work dedicated to the color blue! Subconsciously inspired by the theme i accidentally choose to wear my favorite blue jeans from Forever 21 and my favorite fake fur vest from Choies - so happy to rock this look again!

Streetstyle Vienna feat. NewKissontheBlog

As already mentioned in the previous post i’ve decided to switch things up and be more open in order to create a versatile content as far as blogging goes. For this reason i wanted to try something new and thought that it was about time for a little blogger-collaboration which i’ve never done before...i guess. So you guys know that the internet offers a bunch of different fashion & lifestyle bloggers but most of the time we are talking about females because we all know that men fashion blogger are poorly represented especially here in Vienna - however, i managed to collaborate with the man behind  „NewkissontheBlog“ and i’m excited to share with you guys a few pics of our shoot which took place on a lovely sunday.

Bristol - The Beginning of Fall // Styleguide TV Episode 2

Well, we all know that the fall season is full of events and in my position as being a blogger i often get the chance to attend amazing shop openings, dinner parties, fashionshows, product launches, conferences etc. – or let’s say amazing events in general – and yes i’m still really greatful for this amazing opportunities and definitely feel privileged in such cases. 

So last week i was invited along with Edisa to the Bristol Event in order to celebrate the beginning of fall – and  you guys know how much i love this season, especially the „indian summer“ as i like to call it! But this invitation kept me thinking that this might bet he perfect opportunity to create something different and to share more than just a simple instagram picture. So it was about time to switch things up and extend the possibilities.

You guys probably remember the first episode of StyleguideTV and that we actually planned on creating way more content for this Fashion Channel but at that time we realised that our schedule was way too packed with different things  and so we had to admit that it would be too crazy to continuing our project. But here we are again, with a fresh content and a big portion of enthusiam to share more than we did in the past. So for our second video or let’s say for the upcoming ones we decided to extend our categories from fashion to lifestyle/events and grasped the first chance with both hands to put our ideas to practice and since we are such lovers of Vienna we added way more than just a few glimpses of our outfits. 

As i already mentioned we got the chance to be a part of the wonderful Bristol event that took place at the extraordinary beautiful Bristol Lounge and we got the chance to experience a special and one-of-a kind menu with a range of delicious dishes and to celebrate the beginning of fall together with the invited guests. To give you the atmosphere of the wonderful night at Hotel Bristol in Vienna, we wanted to share our best moments with you. I hope you'll enjoy it! 

Urban Decay - NAKED 3

I guess a lot you guys already jumped on the Urban Decay bandwagon, expect for myself.  I was never really sucked into the hype but that doesn’t mean that i wasn’t interested in their products but it simply takes me a while to get caught up especially when it comes to beauty products. But recently i was lucky enough to be receiving the third installation in Urban Decay’s Naked Pallet’s Series – yes i’m talking about „NAKED 3“!

First of all, i absolutley fell in love with the design – wich is in my opinion a huge selling point when it comes to make up or let’s say beauty products in general! As you can see in the pictures the packaging has this really beautiful rosegold teint with a wavy surface. So when you open it up you’ll get to see the magic - 12 eyeshadows  - all of them have a bit of a rosegold/pinky tint but definitely with a cool underdown – so if you’re a fan of those kind of colors you’re defnitely will have a lovley time with this palette. I also love the fact that their palettes always come with a useable brush because we all know that 90% of the time you’ll get those crappy „space-filler“-brushes which are made for nothing! However, i still had no chance to try out every single color but i can already point my finger on my favorites which i’ve been using for almost 2 weeks in a row. My number one eyeshadow is defintiely „Trick“ which is a coppery shade with little silver microglitters in it, the second one is „Nooner“ a medium brown matte color (perfect crease color) and another favorite of my is "Factory" which looks good with all of the other colors. As you can see in the first picture those eyeshadow are 100% perfect on an everyday basis -  from day to night - and in my opinion it definitely doesn’t look to heavy handed – in other words, it just comes off as being really pretty!

All in all i would say that the Naked 3 Palette is definitely a great addition to you’re average eyeshadows because you can simply add a lot of more dynamic colors to your look and spice up your make up routine! So get excited, because Urban Decay will be available in Austria this October! 

Patched Denim Boyfriend Jeans

With a new season around the corner it’s time to browse through your favorite online shops in order to stock up on the best of fall fashion – i’m currently lusting over a few pieces but let’s see what will happen in the next few weeks because i’m definitely not planning on breaking my bank account and buy ever thing in sight – it’s all about the essentials! One of my all time favorite essential is defnitely the boyfriend jean! You’ve probably seen a few on my blog but this time i’m wearing a patched one! I simply paired it with this big chunky knit sweater, a striped top underneath and some blue pointed pumps which works perfectly with the color wash of those jeans.
