Ready for Christmas | WIN this Look

Can you believe it’s only 24 hours until Christmas?! So excited! So before i’m off to Salzburg where i will celebrate with my family i’m pretty sure you can all appreciate one last giveaway for this year!

Last week i got the chance to stroll through the Peek & Cloppenburg shop in vienna’s kärntnerstraße located in the first disctrict. I was invited to find my very own christmas outfit. I  was actually looking for something that i would call „typical me“ which always involves at least one black piece. Little did i know that on this specific day i was ready to think outside of the box and choose something that’s placed out of my comfort zone – light colors! I ended up with this amazing sleeveless knit sweater and combined it with camel colored pants. To add a little bit more glamour i opted for a clutch that picked up the colors of this ensemble perfectly. And guess what, you (austrian particiapants only) have the chance to win this outfit worth  € 700 on facebook by following this link and leaving a comment down below! Good Luck & Merry Christmas!

Orange is the new....

The Christmas-Countdown is on and i’m still figuring out what to get for my loved ones but before i end up in a Christmas madness i have still a few looks to share! As you guys know that i’m all about layering i thought that it was about time to show you one of my favorite ways to do so. I’m still a big fan of culottes. I started wearing them this year but i’m sure my collection will grow in the next few months or let’s say when the temperatures starts to rise again but in order to wear them during the cold months i can highly recommend one combo that works all the time – with ankle boots. You don’t have to fear mixing things because in all honesty culottes are acturally quite easy to style! Whether you’re tall or petite, curvy or lanky – i assure you there’s one specific type of culotte out there with your name on it!

How to wrap | Madame KUKLA

What about a piece that’s meant to be worn in more than 3 ways that can instantly change your look in a second – amazing, right?! Personally I have to say that having a garment that can be worn as a dress, a vest or simply as a scarf is probably something that i was always looking for and today i’m happy to introudce you to a new brand called KUKLA which is a Vienna based design label founded in 2015 by Stefanie Kukla.

Kukla stands for unique, handmade garments, made in Europe and is inspired by the mix of natural, warm fabrics and clear cuts. I first heard about it a few weeks ago when i stumbeld upon their new website that has probably the coolest front page I’ve seen in a very long time – so definitely check it out!

So this one-size piece i’m wearing is one of 4 color options you can choose from their website. One vest comes always with one clip that you can place where ever you want. The fabric is super soft and allows you to wrap it around your body and creating new looks like nobody’s business. As you can see i tried out 5 options and every single one worked right away – either as a dress, a vest, a scarf but also as a cape every look has something unique. My personal favorite way to wear this vest is definitely either the scarf option or the dress at the very first beginning of this post! So what's your favorite look!

Surprising Clothing Combo

When the weather drops down, the real fun begins – layering! Instead of choosing a coat that has the capability to keep me warm i often find myself wearing more than 4 layers but until now i’ve never tried to wear a skirt over leather pants. I have to say it’s not the easiest way look to pull off as you can instantly look a little bit to bulky but if you find the perfect pair (straight and tight yet have just enough slouch) than you’re good to go.

Obertilliach, East Tyrol

I’m a vintage babe – that’s for sure.  Which is why, and i’m sure you’ll not be surprised, truly love adding pieces from the past to my looks whenever i can. One of those pieces, that i will definitely keep and cherish forever, is this lovely fake fur headband that my mom gave me a few years ago. I have to say this look may be a little bit too much for everyday life but as i already mentioned in this post i’m not a person who loves to follow any rules when it comes to fashion. Go for it – if you like it! That is all that matters. I had the chance to wear this combo when we (talking about my fellow bloggers) were in Obertilliach which is the place where a few scenes of the new James Bond movie 'Spectre' were shot and i guess i couldn't have chosen anything else than wearing this ensemble.

Smokey Eye Drama

Even though Fashion is my main passion and obsession i’ve always been quite fascinated by make-up products. It’s something that became part of my signature look. It simply brings so much more personality to a look and it’s so interesting that everyone has such a different point of view when it comes to personal make-up preferences. One of my favorite steps of my daily routine is defintily the part where i can get a little bit more creative – talking about eyeshadows. Lucky me i got the chance to try out three new palettes by Max Factor. After wearing matte eyeshadows in the first six month of the year i decided that it was about time to get back to the roots and rediscover my love for glitter and shimmer – and oh boy what more can i say that these palettes completley changed my daily routine. These new Smokey Eye Drama Kits by Max Factor were developed after new global research for Max Factor revealed the smoeky eye as the ultimate beauty look women want to achieve – they only problem is just that 37% are too nervous to try it out and are afraid getting it wrong. Somehow i can totally relate to it but let me tell you – a smokey eye is something that’s probably way more easier to achieve compared to a no-make-up make up look. So every Max Factor palette has four shades were you get the chance to create individual looks. My absolute favorite palette is defintiely 03 Sumptuous Gold (you also see in the pictures 06 Azure Allure with the blue shade & 05 Magnetic Jades with the Green shade) which i’m wearing in the picture down below (and almost every single day since i got them) and seems  to be the one which can be worn by anyone. The shadows itself give great color payoff with an outstanding pearly shimmer that is actually a great option for the upcoming holiday season. All in all i can highly recommend these palettes since the price-perfomance convinced me right after the first week.

Volksgarten

Fashion - it’s a thing where you constantly have the chance to create something new! Either by re-inventing pieces and cuts from the past or by mixing new trends with classic pieces – it’s an endless and personal (love)story which can’t be right or wrong. I’m definitely one of those people who truly enjoys playing with different looks and appear quite individualistic without trying to hard. Since i don’t follow any rules when it comes to fashion i often end up with new combinations that can affect not only my personal appearance but also my mood. Anyways today i want to show you one of my favorite combos which is the ulltimate option when you’re right in the middle of those typical in between weather days. For some reason i decided to upgrade this look with a fake fur stola which is more than 10 years old (fun fact: i bought this little furry thing when i went to  prom back in 2007) and as you can see it works pretty well with destroyed denim jeans and simple black boots.

Gucci Bamboo | Find your signature Fragra

As i already mentioned in another post before by saying that by with every change of season that i  always tend to make some personal changes as well i thought that it’s about time to give you guys a little update.  One of them is definitely the issue finding a new fragrance that you will love to wear for the next few months. I have to say that one of the reason why i love to switch up my fragrances is definitely the fact that years later it can bring back some good old memories from the past.

So for this season i choose to wear a  light, fresh and not to heavy floral fragrance,  deep enough to give off that mysterious vibe that can be worn in any season or anytime of the day. Gucci Bamboo is defintiely one those fragrances which is not to sweet but has a very soft feminine vibe with the slightest touch of creamy powder. The notes are blended beautifully, it’s not too strong but definitley noticeable. The design itself is a true icon and since i adore art deco style i think Gucci nailed 100 % it with the diamond style cut of the glass. So if you’re also a big fan of bergamot you should definitely give it a try.

Stroh 80 | Kitchen Editorial

November was a blur – the month flew by in a series of amazing moments i’ll remember for the rest of my life and alll of a sudden – it’s almost December! It’s true – and that means it’s time to open the door to the holiday season! Of course every respectable establishment offers some sort of special christmas biscuits or drinks but there is one special ingriedient that has accompanied me since my childhood – Stroh 80I was introduced to Stroh 80 by my mum when i was a little girl  trying to help her in the kitchen when it was about time to bake some typical austrian cakes and sweets for our guests. Rum was one of those liquors which always played a huge role especially during the christmas season – but it’s also funny that almost everyone i grew up with or whenever i met new (austrian) people, this liquor will always be associated with „typically Austria“.

It’s really surprising that the world’s strongest rum comes from Austria but sometimes your own country is packed full of surprises. Stroh 80 is of course a traditional dark rum that clocks in at 80% alcohol and contains a butterscotchy aroma. It was 1832 when Sebastian Stroh distilled his firs liquor in St. Paul in Lavanttal in Carinthia where he started an austrian success story that has continued for more than 180 years now. Without a doubt, rum is the most underappreciated spirit which is often perceived as being a product with no real benefit but it’s amazing for baking but also for drinking – it seems like that it is almost an it-piece for the month of december - but be careful it’s a super strong liqor! (If you scroll down below i will also let you know which pastry with stroh is by far my favorite).

So in the spirit of almost being in the christmas mood i wanted to create a super special editoral that combines not only stroh 80 and fashion but also represents a certain christmassy atmosphere - and what would be better than shooting in a hotel’s kitchen where you find yourself in the middle of christmas preperation and being able to look over their shoulders. I truly had a blast with my partner in crime Deea from LesFactoryFemmes! Cheers!

What's your.... #ShareYourSexy

...sexy, a strong word people often associate with revealing dresses, models on covers or specific scenes in movies. It’s something you probably don’t say on an every day basis  but i guess in 2015 we are all aware that this word can be so much more than just a physical & superficial thing – and this is where the new Zalando comes into play! The Europe's leading fashion platform for fashion has teamed up with Calvin Klein Underwear for a new campain called #ShareYourSexy photographed by Daniel Jackson who also directed the #shareYourSexy TV and digital campaign with starring top model Joan Smalls and her male counterpart Tobias Sorensen. After #ShareYourStyle it was about time for something new – something people nowadays people use for almost everything without feeling ashamed - since it takes more than looks to call something sexy.

Personally, i think the word itself is difficult to define! It simply  can’t be put in a one-size-fits all category. It’s up to each individual person but if you ask me i would probably have to say that sexy is about embracing who your are and all of the intricacies and facets that make up who you are. Showing your true self, being conscious, speaking out, staying grounded, being empathetic, able to deal with difficult situations, being vulnverable, funny and confident! It’s about acceptance, it’s about beautiful moments and it’s simply about becoming the best version of yourself!

So i thought it would be interesting to ask you guys about your thoughts on #ShareyourSexy because this new campaign by Zalando is not only a new step to inspire, it’s also a new way in order to create something new for their customers which gives us the chance to interact with each other. This new campaign will not only be communicating its message via print and social media, Zalando also also set up a digital hub where people in each country of Europe will be asked to say what’s sexy for them. A few days ago i already shared a picture on my Instagram where you guys still have the chance to win a € 100 Zalando gift voucher. You only have to add the hashtag #ShareYourSexy #Österreich and tag your picutre with @zalando_official @calvinklein underwear & @fashiontweed and simply give me your personal definition what sexy means in your world. So i hope you all join the conversation.

Pursa, Bucket Bag

The bucket bag is the one handbag style i’ve always had a thing for. It’s truly the perfect companion that you can work from season to season – like the ones from Dela Éva which are by the way my favorites from their current collection. I’ve carried various versions of bucket bags in the past – from classic minimal ones to crazy patterned ones but non of them had this kind of vintage look which i was missing - and that’s when the adorable Pursa Bag comes into play. It’s the perfect accessory that defines your outfit and adds a certain vibe to your look. I love the fact that it’s made out of exclusive viennese brocade and 100% cotton velvet but what excites me the most is definitely the bag frame which is an antique „low luster“ brass that i’ve never seen anywhere else.

Timmelsjoch

The joy of travelling.... but when it comes to what to wear, there’s always that eternal struggle between wanting to look presentable but feeling super cosy and comfortable at the same time. Personally i like to keep it simple. My number one tip would probably be – simple footwear for schlepping your stuff from A to B which also allows you to easily slip on and off for the times when you need get extra comfy during a ride or a flight. Another great piece that feels like is defintely a pair of culottes. Back in the day i was always pretty sceptical with pairing them with sneakers but i came to the conclusion that it truly adds a certain laid-back vibe to your look – and that’s all i’m asking for when i’m traveling.

Be your own 007

You’ll know from yesterday’s post that i’ve been to the premiere of the new James Bond Movie „Spectre“ and for this occasion we all got to choose our personal ensemble from Peek & Cloppenburg a few weeks ago. Instead of choosing a classic evening gown i decided to think out of the box in order to add a little bit James Bond to my look – you only have to channel your inner agent 007 by pairing a black high wasted skirt with a white blouse and of course a black bow-tied collar that truly emualte Bond’s posh appearance. During the movie night we already caught some people's attention but the best ‚showstopper’ part was definitely when we entered the casino and everyone stopped playing. What an entrance!

On the tracks of 007 | Impressions

This year Sky TV invited five bloggers to travel to the places where a few of the action scenes of the 24th Bond film were shot. The world's most lovable secret agent Lothario has been to the mountains to Central Europe many times, but he has never been to Sölden, which plays not only a major role in the movie but also made me realize that you definitely don’t have to leave your own country when your’re looking for something new and inspring that can truly blow your mind. But let’s go back to the beginning where everything started. The James Bond-Roadtrip through Austria kicked off with the premiere of Spectre in Innsbruck and of course we, talking about Nina, Vicky, Raffael, Kathi & myself included, also got the chance to extend our 007-Night at the Casino where we were invited to a private dinner followed by a (private) poker game that we enjoyed to the fullest since we were constantly sipping on our "Vesper Martini" which happens to be the the favorite drink of James Bond - no complaining at all.

Canary Wharf, London | Business Bag

Whether you read it in a fashion magazine or in a how to style guide book, „What to wear to Work“ rules are everywhere and are usually focused on the industry you work in. This question never gets boring and since we are able to experiment a little bit more than a few years ago it often happens that even a classic look can be way more fashionable when you start to think out of the box. One of my ultimate choice when it comes to combine business and fashion i always opt for culottes. I started to love this trend a few months ago and i couldn’t imagine anything else when you’re sick of your normal black pants. Another highlight of this ensemble is definitely the CEO business bag by Dela Éva which adds a little bit more color in order to create a little bit more contrast to rest of the look. We shot these pictures at Canary Wharf (London) which was obviously the closest that London comes to looking like New York since it is the place where all the skyscrapers live.

Classe de Neige | Rettenbach Glacier

A trip through Austria brings a week of content and that’s why i decided to start with one of my favorite looks which i was wearing on the second day when we headed to the Rettenbach Glacier. This look is defintiely perfect for the mountains and obvsiously the ultimate a showstopper that attracted a lot of attention! Ever since i created my own Pinterest Board the day before we started this unforgettable James Bond-Tour i was thrilled to shoot this look right in the middle of a snow-corved landscape. Definitely stay tuned for more!

Sneaker Love

Back in Summer i was obsessed with one little piece of clothing which became somehow part of my signature look – the vest. It’s one of those pieces that can instantly upgrade your look especially when you’re wearing basics combined with the most comfortoable shoes you can opt for. I also figured my proclivity for white rubber soles became undeniable and that’s why i finally added a pair of Adidas Stan Smith to my shoe collection and have since decided to wear them everday. I honestly have to say that i used to have a hard time embracing white footwear but since i realized that you can even rock them with culottes and dresses i came to the conclusion that white sneakers are the ultimate option for any outfit.

For the Love of Photography

Let’s face it – most of us are talking pictures on a daily basis in order capture amazing moments during the day - but also to throw them up on our social media plattforms and call it a day! Of course, as a blogger i have my personal little outlet where i have the chance to see my pictures in a chronocial order but a lot of people don’t. With everything being so virtual these days, i find that we often forget that digital photos can get lost in the abyss that is your phoneor your computer (myself included) and we also neglect to preserve these moments in a valuable way. Since i’m still a huge fan of physical albums and flipping through old photos i set up a plan to put together a book (like this one) of all my favorite pictures from each year! It sounds overwhelming but i guess the result will be super rewarding but also a great option when it comes to finding individual gifts for Christmas! Who's with me!

Upgrade your Shirt

I love shirts – that’s one fact about me when it comes to fashion. But over the years i found out that there are so many options to rock this piece in different ways. You can either switch it the other way around, roll up the sleeves or simply tuck the front of it into your jeans. But one of my the most innovative way to wear a classic shirt is defintely to wear it as a „Carmen“ top. Super easy and probably the best way to change your look for an another occasion when you’re in a hurry.

AMA #apfeldazu | Campaign

Last month was pretty packed up with new experiences, interesting projects and of course a lot of fun – and today i finally get to share one of them. Back in August i was asked to be part of a new campaign named #apfeldazu (en: „add an apple) by AMA. As we all know that a regular apple consumption simply helps us to stay healthy and gives us vitamins AMA made it to its mission to encourage companies to provide their employees free apples in order to add an attractive and healthy treat when it comes to snacks in between.

In case of fruit, apples are by far the most popular product here in Austria -  it’s one of those fruits which accompanied us since the years of early childhood. My favorite way to eat apples is definitely fresh out of my hand but over the years i became a huge fan of the legendary Apfelstrudel which is not only a popular pastry here in Austria but also a must if you ever come to Vienna and plan to visit a traditional vienniese  coffee house.

And if you’re also such a big apple lover you have the chance to win on of the photos on canvas! You will find all the pictures on apfeldazu.at and further more they will get published in the Austrian Magazine WOMAN on the 6th of November! Just simply post a picture of your favorite apple recipe with the hashtag #apfeldazu on instagram!

Eos Lipbalm | Favorites

If there is one thing i can’t seem to get enough when i comes to a specific lip product, that is often the forgotten friend that fails to receive any time in the spotlight, than it’s definitely the eos lip balm. I have to say that i jumped on the bandwagon pretty late to be excact a little bit over a month ago when i attended the Lollapalooza festival and stopped by at the Eos-Lounge. I have to say that i’m actually pretty close being up to date when it comes to new products but somehow i totally missed the hype of these little bright colored balls but after using them for weeks and giving my lips the same treatment like my face i finally stopped struggeling with chapped lips – but of course you have to be consisent but somehow it works.

So a little bit over a week ago i was invited to a lovely breakfast alongside with some other lovely bloggers in order to discover their whole range since eos is finally avaiable in Austria for example at DouglasEOS lip balm comes in different fruit flavors like strawberry sorbet, blueberry acai, summer fruit, sweet mint and they already added more to their collection - pomegranate raspberry and vanilla bean. They’re made from shea butter, vitam E and jojoba oil and contain natural flavors that are meant to provide a pleasant taste and scent as well as protection for the lips. I love the fact that eos lip balm products are paraben-free and that they don’t include petroleum since the lips cannot absorb it. Personally i always let i sink about five minutes before i put on my actual lipstick and since i started using drier products i simply can’t imagine skipping this part.

Sky007HD Launch Event in Hamburg | Impressions

Last week i was invited to Hamburg in order to be part of a very special event. For the very first time in history Sky 007 HD will air all twenty-three official Bond movies, with the channel launching on October 5th (today)- and what location would be the ultimate option for a little celebration – of course the Hamburg Hotel Atlantic Kempinski. It’s not only the place where the german rock star Udo Lindenberg has been living there for more than 15 years it was also used as a location in the movie „Tomorrow never dies“.

The launch of the new pop-up channel kicked off with a red (or in this case a black) carpet event featuring guest appearances by Germany’s only ‘Bond girl’ Karin Dor (You Only Live Twice), skier Willy Bogner, who served as cameraman and stuntman in a number of Bond films, and German Bond villains Götz Otto (Tomorrow Never Dies), Claude-Oliver Rudolph (The World Is Not Enough), Michael Pink (Skyfall) and Detlef Bothe who will appear in forthcoming movie Spectre.

150 guest were invited to enjoy an evening full of James Bond’s typical moments – like drinking Martinis (shaken, not stirred), playing roulette and smoking cigarres. It was so much fun being 007 for one night and i guess my adventure won’t stop here anyway – but more about that very soon. Big thanks to BESSER for inviting me to the Sky Event, i truly had a blast!

Bordeaux with Lillet | Impressions

One of my favorite trip this year was definitely the one with Lillet to Bordeaux which is not only the heart of french wine and obviously the perfect destination for wine-lovers, it's also inscribed to the UNESCO World Hertiage List for a 1810 hectare area that spreads over half of the city.

Since i only posted my outfits i was wearing during this trip, i thought i might also add some impressions of this lovely adventure but furthermore i also managed to capture all those beautfil moments on film which was not always that easy since our schedule was packed with so many activites and insights that i was trying to find the right balance between to actually enjoy the moment but also taking pictures and filming at the same time. You know what i mean!
SIGHTSEEING - our first day started with a super lovely Deux Chevaux tour through the city where we had the chance to see the whole center  in a short amount of time.  Martine, a former English and History professor, who was the guide showed us so many of the historical sights and really captured our attention with her knowledge about Bordeaux.

Old Compton St, London

Supporting brandnew labels has always been a passion of mine. It’s not only inspiring and interesting to be part of something new it’s also the fact to be part of someone else's dream. So when i was in London i was super excited to shoot one specific look featuring this amazing bag from the london based brand Dela Éva and this beautiful tweed top made by the talented austrian designer ZOU. I simply love the combination of these two pieces and and also the fact that this „Royal Blue“ Pursa bag  is inspired by the breathtaking interior of the Belvedere Castle in  Vienna. So defintiely check out the whole range if you’re also a big fan of bucket bags like me – and defintiely stay tuned for more.

SOHO, LONDON #LFW

Those of you following along snapchat (find me: fashiontweed) will know that i’ve been to London for a couple of days in order to produce something really special for a brandnew label during London Fashion Week. So for the first day i choose to wear something really casual but chic at the same time because we were running around like crazy. I decided to rock my new sneakers which obviously became my favorite shoes over the last few days simply because they go with everything from a flowy hippie dress to jeans and a t-shirt.

Outfit | Lollapalooza Day 1

So today i’m finally able to show you my first look which i was rocking on the first day of the Lollapalooza festival! During the summertime i tried to avoid black outfits because i was really drawn to colors and being a little bit more versatile then i used to be in the past. But whenever Fall is knocking on the door i’m find myself wearing my favorite ‚color’ over and over again! So for the first day i decided to be a little bit creative and wrapped a poncho around my waist and simply added a turtleneck crop top – super comfortable but fashionable at the same time!

Hope you like it!

Lollapalooza-Berlin w/ Zalando

If you follow me on my other Social Media Platforms you've probably noticed that the lovely people from Zalando invited a bunch of bloggers to the Lollapalozza Festival which is actually an american  annual music festival featuring popular alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop bands/artists and for the very first time it took place in Berlin at Tempelhof Airport.

I have to say that I've only attended one festival in my whole life and wasn't really craving another one but when i saw the line up i was excited from the very beginning. I actually had no expecations at all but now i can say WOW what a weekend. It was not only the music and the chance to see my favorite bands/artists like MS MR, Chvrches, James Bay, Muse just to name a few, no i also have to say that the girls from Zalando organized everything perfectly that i was truly impressed each day! They invited almost 30 bloggers from different countries and i guess it's defintely not easy to pay attention to everything – but they did. The fact that i also had the chance to meet bloggers from different countries in order hang out and talk to them made this experience even more special! It's always so interesting meeting new people and simply get to know each other. We also got the opporunity to pick out an outfit for these two days but oh boy it's pretty hard to find the perfect ensemble. I'm all about wearing  comfortable  clothes which still look fashionable and fun at the same time because i guess it's super important feeling free and wearing pieces you don't have to bother with all the time. My two looks will be up in the next few days but if you want you can also check out more festival looks if you click here

So during the festival i also took a bunch of pictures, spent some time at the   Zalando Lounge, ate amazing food (the food options were out of this world), met interesting people, saw a few of my favorite bands, danced like nobody's business and cleary drank beer like I've never did before. I wasn't sure if i would like it but after a few hours i started to enjoy Lollapalozza to the fullest! So once again – thank you so much Zalando for this amazing experince! I truly had a blast!

The perfect Denim Jacket

As i already mentioned in my previous post September or let's say Fall in general is my favorite season of the year since you get the chance to be a little bit more creative when it comes to fashion. But one piece which works any time of the year and will never go out of style was still missing in my closet – the perfect denim jacket and too be quite honest it actually took me ages to find the ultimate fit for my bodytype but today i’m finally able to show the one which has in my opinion the perfect rich texture, color and wash!

Desert

Here it is – after Lillet Blanc & Sunset Refelction the story continues and finally after all this wait i am sooo excited to finally share with you another epic Fashion Film produced by the one and only Patrick Domingo and with the help of Max Brucker.

It all started when we stumbeld across an image of this scenery and i have to say that i never thought that you will find such a location near Vienna which gives you the ultimate opportunity creating something totally different and of course something totally unexpected. With the time being quite perfect we managed to shoot not only on a super hot day but also right before the sun has set which was exactly what we had in mind. Personally this Fashion Film represents the perfect end of the summer which was full of different situations  projects, new experiences, and of course days full of ups and downs. But now it’s time to continue and start a new month which will be full of new adventures and opportunities. So stay tuned!

MTV #VMAs | Homage to Taylor Swift's Music Video 'Bad Blood'

You guys know that i’m a big fan of collaborations with different people who love to try out new things or let’s say don’t take themselves too seriously - and that’s why we (talking about Stylekingdom, Lesfactoryfemmes & Modewurst) thought that i might be a fun idea to create our own Bad Blood (Blogger?!) Sin-City inspired posters which we all know from the music video by Taylor Swift. I have to say that when i first heard  Bad Blood“ i thought that it would be another random ear worm until Taylor Swift started promoting the video on her instagram like there was no tomorrow  - and i guess we all know what i’m talking about.

Bad Blood became such a huge success all over the world but with the series of Sin-City inspired posters which featured a ton of her BFFs it became kind of a cutlural phenomen which is by the way also nominated for nine moonmen at this years  MTV Video Music Awards (#VMAs).

Key Pieces to Transition Your Wardrobe from Summer to Fall | Edition: Basic Dress

Summer, it’s still here but i have to say that i’m definitely ready for the season finale. August has been an amazing month full of exciting projects, night shifts and super cool collaborations but when my favorite month of the year (September) is knocking on the door i’m beyond exciting to start some new adventures – and let me tell you there will be a few incredible projects coming up which i reveal as soon as i’m able too.

September is also the month of finding the perfect pieces to transition your wardrobe from summer to fall. It’s that time of year where half of us are still wearing crop tops and sandals, and the other half are wearing leather jackets and scarfs. It’s a month full of fashion-confusion. The key is defintely layering and that’s why a lot of us fashion lovers should prefer fall – you get so much more creative and wild with you appearance. I often start with a basic piece like with loose fitted pants or with a basic dress like this one i’m wearing on the pictures. Throw over a statement piece like this vest, add a scarf, nice sneakers or boots and you’re good to go.

But as you guys know i always love to add a certain twist to any of my outfits and so I’ve decided that it was about time to rock my new patterned GAP espadrilles which seems to be the perfect option for this black and white combo.

Urban Decay | Favorites

So over the last few weeks i’ve been experimenting with a few Urban Decay-Products that left me speechless right from the beginning. I had absolutely no expectations but after using them on a everyday basis i can officially say that i have some new favorites in my make-up collection.

As i already mentioned in my last Urban Decay-Post i’m all about the design – it’s also a huge selling point and i always appreciate an unique and beautiful packaging. So let’s start with the eyeshadows which by the way can be popped out of their cases and popped into Urban Decay palettes which makes life a little bit more easier when you are not that kind of person who wants to carry around single eyeshadow pots.

#New Discoveries | Fuji X-Pro1

When i first started this blog i already had a huge interest in photography and i guess most people of my age started with an analog camera before the hype of the digital madness began. More and more new cameras were being launched onto the market – it simply became a household object but when i first received the Canon EOS 300 D i was super excited to be finally a proud owner of a DSLR - and guess what i had absolutely no clue what i was doing back then. But times have changed.

To this day, i’m still a big fan of Canon cameras (my recent pictures were taken with the Canon 5 D Mark III, 50mm 1.2 favorite lens ever) but every now and then it’s nice to switch things up and see how other cameras perform – like the Fuji X-Pro1 wich is a compact system camera featuring a retro design. (Lens: 35mm F1.4). Obviously i wasn’t the one behind the camera but with the support of my main man Patrick Domingo who captured these shots while we were strolling around the city, i always have the chance to gain a better insight into the world of photography and show you different pictures every now and then. I have to say that even before i started editing these pictures in Photoshop i was already impressed by the image quality similar to what you get from a DSLR. Now let me know what you think - do you see any difference compared to my previous pictures?

Vienna's Fashion Scene | Interview with Mark Baigent presented by Gillette Venus + GIVEAWAY

Vienna has a lot to offer, amazing architecture, long-lasting tradition, the way of living but also an interesting fashion scene. That’s why Gillette Venus made it its mission to support local designers and give them the chance to be part of the MQ Vienna Fashion Week.15 in order to present their current collection on the runway.

In collaboration with Gillette Venus i had the pleasure to meet Mark Baigent, one of the chosen designers who’s not only known for creating avantgarde „gender free“ fashion which includes a lot of uni sex cuts, black fabrics, geometric cuts and minimalistic shapes but also for his dedication to ethical practices throughout the production process.

He’s currently sharing his workspace with other creative individuals at the Schneiderhof which is obviously the perfect place to develop new ideas and get inspired in a laid-back atmosphere which invites you to sit down in order to gain an amazing insight of their work.

Due to the fact that his collection is not focused on any specific bodytype and that he doesn’t care about genders only about the people i was also excited to browse through his creations in order to find my personal favorites – it’s all about finding the perfect piece which simply fits to your own preferences and personal style which is not only a statement you will hear in the fashion world but also relatable to the products of Gillette Venus which were also developed to the different needs for women for 30 years.

As both in fashion and in beauty routines every woman (and man) has her (his) individual preferences and needs, i decided to show you two of my favorite looks by Mark Baigent as well as my favorite Gillette Venus products today. You will find the looks and products on the pictures below, which have been shot at Schneiderhof. A few words on my favorite Venus products: For an extra portion moisture and to avoid dry skin, i use the Venus & Olaz razor with its lovely vanilla scent. When i feel more sensitive, i go for the Venus Embrace Sensitive razor and the dye- and fragrance-free Satin Care Pure & Delicate shave gel, which further helps to minimize the risk of skin irritation. For instant smoothness on-the-go i love the new Venus Embrace Snap with its cute mini handle.

To give you the opportunity to find your perfect match, either in Mark’s collection or in the Gillette Venus portfolio, i am hosting a giveaway today:  you have the chance to win a package full of Gillette Venus products but you also have the chance to win 1x2 tickets for the fashion show of Mark Baigent and Ylva presented by Gillette Venus on September 9th. Just tell me which one you think could be your favorite Gillette Venus razor and don’t forget to add your email-address! The winners will be announced on the 2nd of September! Good Luck!
