Outwear
is a challenge – especially when it’s super cold outside and you have no other
choice to set a new record when it comes to layering – and that’s exactly what
i did over the last few weeks. I was wearing this amazing cape almost everyday
since it’s one of those functional pieces that can instantly change your look
in a second. But keep in mind that capes definitely can overwhelm your shape and
that’s why i always tend to wear a slim fitting style on the bottom half in
order to create a clean line and proportion without looking to bulky. So what
are your thoughts!
Who
doesn’t want to wander the world, looking for new adventures round every corner
and making new freinds along the way? Well i’m definitely one of those people
and as i already mentioned in this post before that you don’t even have to
leave your own country when you’re looking for something new and inspiring that
can truly blow your mind, i think it’s safe to say that you can have a
wonderful time everywhere as long as you sourround yourself with lovable and
funny people that can make a trip even more special.
Today
i’m thrilled to finally post my recent trip to St. Anton where i was actually
invited to see the Ski World Cup but also to get my personal #AudiExperience and
enjoy a wonderful weekend in the middle of the mountains. Unfortunatly the Cup
got cancelled but i can honselty say that this weekend was still one of a kind.
About a
week ago you may have seen some wintery shots that nestled into my
instagram feed. I had the pleasure to be
invited by Audi to St. Anton which is a place where the landscape and
community are legendary for hospitality and winter adventure. But before i show
you my personal impressions of this wonderful trip i thought i will continue my Moonboot obsession and share with you guys my look which i was wearing on
the first day! Finding the perfect winter boots may be a though journey but
ever since i saw these little cuties i knew that the hunt was over! They truly
kept my feet dry and are supercomfy to walk with.
So
since i rushed into 2016 i realized that i was constantly on the go. After spending the
first days of the new year in Carinthia i headed to St. Anton for an another
amazing event which i will tell you more about in the next post – but one
thing i was absolutely excited
about was definitely the invitation i received back in December from Zalando
where me and my fellow bloggers (Hristina >FleurdeMode<, Deea & Laura >LesFactoryFemmes< & Nina >Berries&Passion<) got the chance to experience a whole day
& night all dedicated to the ballseason (which is acutally a pretty big
deal here in Austria).
Well i
guess i should start off with my dress, which is naturally one of the most
important things for an occassion like this. After browsing through the whole
online store of Zalando i ended up choosing 4 different dresses (which you will find here) but already
knew which would be the winner. Usually i stick to black when it comes to
dresses but as soon as i saw this metallic gown i knew i was ready to step out
of my comfort zone. The structure of the dress and of course with the little peplum detail i simply knew that it would fit perfectly to my personal style.
To top it all off i also found the perfect shoes to complete the look and i
couldn’t be more happier with my choice.
Effortless,
cool and versatile – these are the first words that come to my mind when i
think about bomber jackets. Aside from the fact that there are several
different styles of these type of jackets available on the market it’s one of
those items that’s perfect for pulling of the off-duty look – especially when you
intend to dress down a skirt. So after finally adding one to my closet
recently, i found myself wearing it non stop! It’s not only a great option for
your every day life but also the perfect layering-piece which can be worn
underneath another jacket or a cape that’s not able to keep you warm. It’s defintely
an investment piece that won’t ever go out of style!
What would be
better to start the first Monday of the Year with a brandnew fashion film that
features not only my dear blogger colleagues Deea and Laura from the Blog ‚LesFactory Femmes’ which btw became highly respected friends over the last few months
but also features a very special location called Semperdepot which is located
in the 6th district. Unfortunately it took me a while to edit the footage which
were shot back in September but good things come to those who wait. Furthermore
the last couple of weeks were pretty intense and packed up with so many things
and emotions that i was pretty happy to rest a bit to get my energy back but
somehow with Mondays comes responsibilities and that’s why i decided to back on
track on the 4th of January. With that being said i wish you all a happy new
year and may your plans for 2016 come true.
