Best Friend Forever

It’s been such a long time since i have worn my favourite boyfriend jeans – such a shame. But sometimes i totally forget about certain pieces in my closet i actually really love. I blame it on my pull-out trouser hanger from Ikea. After using it for almost 2 years i have come to realize that it’s just not the perfect system of order for my personal needs.  It was time for a little closet makover and create a better organized place for my favourite pants - so happy with the way it turned out.

Polka Dots

It’s been a while since i’ve put on a skirt but most of the time i always tend to wear pants. I like them for their practicality and i’m definitely more a tomboy than a girlygirl. But once in while i like to wear a really feminine skirt although i have to style it with some really maculine pieces.
Weeks ago i received a little package from Calzedonia with different types of tights and i was particularly happy about the fact that my search for the perfect polka dot tights is finally over and i can truly say that i'm more than satisfied with the quality. Even the dots are made out of black velvet. Maybe some of you know the one’s from H&M. I’ve bought them years ago but mine ripped in the first two weeks – they were too delicate and definitely not high quality.

SelmaSound Photoshoot in Vienna

Weeks ago i got asked by Selma, who’s also an old friend of mine, to style her upcoming photoshoot. She recently moved to England and is currently recording her new album. Due to the fact that she recently updated her look and went for a short cropped hairdo she needed some new pictures for her website. She already had a clear vision about the shoot and came up with the idea to create a Twiggy inspired look. Once i started putting an inspiration board together i thought that an edgy mix between Twiggy, Eddie Sedgwick and Kate Moss would bet he perfect choice – which means a lot of sequins, overknee-tights, statement earrings etc. just to name a couple of accessoires we took advantage of. In the past few years i already did a couple of styling for shoots, tv presentations and fashionshows that’s why i also knew what i had to bring besides the clothes like double faced adhesive, a lot of safety pins, a hand dispenser, cotton wool and so on... This collaboration was so much fun and the shoot itself was just awesome only because the chemistry was perfect between everyone who was working on this project. During the shoot i was also able to videotype some moments with my camera. I knew that i had to do a making-of. I simply love those kind of pictures and videos!! As soon as i get the pictures i will post them all on my blog but for now i’ll leave you with some "behind the scenes" - impressions !!!

The Shit

Weeks ago i got the „Shit“ sweater during a meet and greet with Bonnie Strange. I only snapped some instagram pictures but i never really got the chance to take some pictures for my blog. To keep this outfit a little bit more interesting i decided to wear my new/old fake fur coat i got at the fashionblogger fleamarket some weeks ago but i guess this little attention seeker on my head if definitely the highlight of the whole look.

Christmas Decoration 2012

I almost can’t believe it but we are already reached the last month of this year - how exciting! Since i’m not aware of any „traditional“ date to put up the christmas tree me and my boyfriend decided to welcome christmas spirit right at the very beginning of december and turned my home or rather my living room, which is obviously the focal point of many residences, into a mini winter wonderland.

While my boyfriend was decorating the whole tree like a pro i started making a massive amount of cookies – it’s always a little nerve racking when your trying to do all in one day - like i did!!! But honestly i’m really happy about the fact that now we can have more time to appreciate all the work we put into it.
When do you start decorating for christmas!
