Getting
invited to super special events here in Vienna where you not only get the
chance to be part of an exclusive evening surrounded by old history
but also get the opportunity to connect with interesting and fun people is definitely
one of the best part about blogging. So when the lovely people of the PR agency
Themata ask me if i want to join them to the ROMY GALA (organized every year by the daily newspaper Kurier), which is an austrian TV
award named after the great austrian actress Romy Schneider, i immidiatly said
yes.
Since
a gala is an evening of glitz and glamour i was a little bit concerned what to
wear but fortunately i was able to pick out a dress from Escada – a dream came
true. I picked out this beautfiul red dress which was not only super
comfortable but also inspired me to create an old hollywood look from head to
toe.
Let me tell you – the fascination with all things #90s is still going
strong – especially when we are talking about mom jeans. But you better pay
special attention how they look on your body. Mom Jeans have this special look
that will turn your outfit from boring to extraordinary without being super
tight and uncomfortable to wear – quite the opposite i would say. So when i
found myself wearing them on a regular basis i realisied that i was still
missing a black pair. I don’t know about you guys but sometimes when i go out
at night i feel wearing darker clothes compared to my outfits i’m wearing
during the day. So whenever i decided to wear a black top and mom jeans i
always ended up craving black denim. Luckily i found this amazing pair from H&M with has the perfect shape which allowes me to wear my favorite top
tucked in order to accentuate my waist. Besides the fact that i’m wearing them
on high rotation they are probably the perfect mom jeans for day and night!
Back in the days when i was living in Salzburg i honestly took the beauty
of it for granted but whenever i have time and the chance to spend few days in
my Hometown i always enjoy every second to the fullest. It’s always something
special about where are you coming from because it’s your memories and it will
always be a part of you. So exactly one week ago i finally got the chance to
shoot at the ‚Staatsbrücke’ which is actually super crowed and almost
impossible to shoot with no people in the background. Can’t wait to be back in
two weeks!
