DIY Black Playsuit

I definitely jumped into this little project because I had absolutely no clue how to sew a playsuit! Result: I am able to make clothes…no one showed me how to do it and I also haven’t read any books like “How to sew”. I just started! I was always wondering if I’m able to sew anything like a skirt, shirt or pants etc. but I was always a little bit overwhelmed with the sewing machine until I realized that it is not as difficult as it looks.
First of all I have to say…the top is from H&M which I have not worn for a really long time and that’s why I decided to “recycle” it. (Conclusion: make the BEST out of your old clothes ).
Where did I get the cut?
From another playsuit from Zara (second last post). Top is from H&M.

(these are the 4 pieces that are going to be sewn together)

At the beginning I had no clue how to start! I was only inspired by all those playsuits which are totally easy and comfortable to wear.
Just because of the fact that you only have to "jump" into it and suddengly you're dressed up without thinking "What should I wear"!

(my sewing machine & Chanel lunch paper bag)

How long did it take to sew this playsuit?

It took me 6 or 7 hours in a row. It’s like solve a riddle. Which piece should I sew first ....and how do I get them together…and finally put some tulle lace around the leg-openings.
That's the first time turning my ideas and concepts into real clothing. You only have to figure out how someting goes together.
